The Eternal Cycle
As the nights draw in, and the days get colder in many parts of the world, this time of the year traditionally marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. Celebrating Halloween or Samhain, various cultures have believed this to be an auspicious time, a lifting of the veil between the living and the dead, a returning of the souls of the dead to the earth.
A beautiful reminder that we are all part of and deeply connected to the eternal, sacred cycle of life and death. As we transition seasons, let us consider and honor our ancestors, our lineage, and the ones who have walked the path before us. With grace we continue on their journey, learning from their wisdom, celebrating their accomplishments. Unveiling and healing what still needs to be healed, so that those who have come before us, and those who will come after us may be healed too.
