Learning To Be
We are learning to be with the pauses of life, the moments that require us to move more slowly and tenderly than we might be used to. They are an invitation to go inward, reflect, and feel into where we might have moved too fast in the past and lost ourselves in the process. Here we are reminded to pick ourselves back up and nourish our body, heart, and soul through moments of reconnection, silence, and presence. How can we all be more thoughtful, caring, and kind to ourselves and each other now?
Be real about how you are feeling – you don’t have to be cheerful and happy all the time. Simply allow yourself to be present with what arises in each moment. Become a vessel for your feelings, and allow them to move through you without resistance. What can you do for yourself that would help you feel loved? What part of your life needs nourishment? What part of yourself needs to be taken care of now? Give yourself all the nurturing, tender love you need.
